Website: www.rhallt.co.uk
Walk along the unspoiled 'time gone by' towpath of the Montgomery canal straight from the front door of the Moors B&B. It has a wealth of rare plants and habitation. The scenery all around is breathtaking, and you do not have to be an athlete to enjoy a long walk. There are many resting places with benches and a few bars on the way for that pie and a pint, or venture into Welshpool Town Centre, which is full of bars and restaurants and very quaint cafes and shops. Welshpool is only 1.5 miles along the towpath, or walk to Powis Castle which is another mile out of Welshpool or just relax with a fishing rod and watch the world go by. For the more athletic, Offa's Dyke and the Severn Way pass our door way, and there are numerous more energetic circular walks surrounding the Moors Farm and the Montgomery Canal. Go to Crowther Hall for more information on Boat trips and Canoe hire. Come and enjoy!
